Dichotomy of Me

Dichotomy of Me

30x40 Metallic Print on a 3/4" Black Standout.
This image was shot in two seasons, winter and summer.  I call this tree the Eminija Tree, as it stands in the middle of the Eminija Burial Grounds, an ancient Native American people who lived here long, long before America was even a thought.   It represents the contrast that lies within us and the epic battle that is constantly warring between good and evil, light and darkness, right and wrong. The one is cold and barren, the other is warm and full of life, and the storm breaks somewhere between the two.
