Taking Flight

A sleeper wave slammed into me while I was laying flat on my stomach on the beach, photographing a baby seal. The result was a camera lens completely destroyed as it got caught in the surf and filled will sea water.  Walking along the shore I was surrounded by these beautiful birds and as they were taking flight I snapped this photo.  The 'fog' of the image is actually the dying shot of my lens.  Inside the elements were fogged over and clouded, and the lens stopped working right after this shot.
