We were out on a senior session and I was just measuring the light while we were setting up for our next shot. Jamie (the mom) was along for the session and was just smiling up at her boy, so I grabbed a few test shots. I couldn't help but share. I thought the light mixed with her expression was just stunning. The funny thing is we were supposed to shoot at this track the day before but somebody forgot to unlock the gates, so we had to come back today. Yesterday: windy, rain, very dark clouds. Today: beautiful, breathtaking Indian summer. We couldn't have captured this yesterday, and yet here we were today in the shimmering sunlight.
