I know this isn't the 'perfect shot' that moms envision for family pictures (no worries Mom, we got those too), but in my mind, THIS is the quintessential Mom shot. Her little boy gets downright Hangry right smack in the middle of the session when the light is perfect, and Mom has to stop, grab the pre-planned granola bar and a squirt bottle, and instantly (because he's in her arms), all is once again right in the world. He picks up on the love that she radiates and the result is joy.
This to me is what being a mom really looks like. Moms are the sweet spot, aren't they? Behind the scenes, always working, always considering, Moms just flat know what you need and when, and there is nothing more sacrificial, beautiful, or comforting.
